Well last week Bill ended up being off work on Tuesday, Wednesday, he worked 10-3 on Thursday & then was out on Friday, he worked another 10-3 on Saturday. We had LOTS of ice & snow. Our area had to borrow 70 some plow trucks to help clear our highways. Created all kinds of mess for the precious Super Bowl.
Yesterday was in the mid 50's so the kids got to play outside for a little bit, when we went to bed at 10:30 it was still 48. We woke to a bitter 18 degrees this morning! When I got up it was raining & it has now turned to snow. Over 707 schools in the area have either closed or are delayed. And guess who is on his way to work, in my vehicle (with no 4 wheel drive. His truck, the anti-lock brakes have failed)? I am worried about him. We are to get 2-4 inches today on top of the rain we just had.
But on the brighter side, tomorrow's high is to be 33 and Sunday's high 65.
Well Bill just sent me a text message & he made it to work, he said the road were not bad. It is just him & one other guy there right now. Hope he gets to come home early.
The kids have been being little pickles the last week or so. Testing all kinds of limits and it is truely exhausting! We think they are getting their 2nd set of molars and that is adding to the grouchiness. Their naps have gone from 3+ hrs down to less than 2hr and then they are grouch monsters the rest of the evening. We tried putting them to bed at 6:59 last night and Ryan layed in his bed talking to himself & singing until 8:40! And this morning he woke up an hr early. Looks like it is going to be another one of "those" days.
I have a consignment sale coming up at the end of the month. So much work to do trying to get everything ready.
We are going to try potty training this weekend. Bill will be off Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday to help with this. And then I have cleared our schedule for the remainder of that week so we don't have to leave the house. We will have out old burp rags & the carpet cleaner. I am not too concerned about the daytime, it is nap & bedtime that I am more worried about.
