Poor Little Lamb..

Surgery went well. They gave him some "happy" drugs before they wheeled him down the hall. Thankgoodness because I don't think I would have let them take my screaming scared baby away. Bill went in after surgery (Jordan wasn't allowed in, so I stayed with her) and he said he was crying the entire time. He drank 3 ozs of breastmilk, so that was good. Thankfully he didn't get sick like I do when knocked out. We knew that he was going to have this pH probe in his nose for 24hrs but we didn't know that his arms would be like this for 24hrs. So he can't crawl or play. It is so sad. The doc said that he saw some odd "humps" on his stomach lining & they took many pieces to run biopsy on. We should get those results next week. Bill stayed home from work to help out because I don't know how I could do it alone with Jordan & poor Ryan like this:

He is hooked up to this computer & we have to push different buttons if he is eating, sitting up, laying down, if he cries, vomits, coughs or another button if he does something else odd- then write down the odd thing.

We have to pull the tube out in the morning, then take the entire thing back to the hospital with urine & poo samples for testing to be ran on those & then they will do a sweat test on him.
All results should be back next week. We will keep you posted.

  1. Ohhh...poor sweet chicken. That must have been so harrowing on you all! How is Jordan doing with it? Poor Ryan with those things on his arms...I assume this is to keep him pulling the probe out?

He is adorable. Absolutely adorable. You hang in there mama.
