Trying to Find a Milk Bank

that will take frozen milk. One would think it would be easy but it isn't. Most want it fresh, so they can run tests on it. Why do I want to donate the milk? Well I don't want too, but the twins are not drinking it anymore. The hospital explained to me that the twins have been refluxing the breastmilk for 17 months, so the smell of the breastmilk makes the twins think it will cause them reflux pain- even though it won't anymore. So sad.....

A look back:

This is the inside of the deep freezer, keep in mind the freezer is bigger than me.

Here is a close up of the inside of the deep freezer:

Here is the freezer door. See each bag? There are 4-5 bags behind each of those bags

This is our 2nd deep freezer. See the top row? There are several stacks under that row and then a stack of stand bags similar to the bottom drawer.

I made some serious milk people! I think I could have fed a small nation of babies!

The hospital told us to throw away any milk that was over 1 year old. So today I pulled out all milk that was over a year old. And I am VERY sad that I had to throw away SO much milk. It could have helped someone's baby thrive, just wished it could have been mine.

Here is the size of one bag:

This is how much I had to throw away:

Oh & if I don't find a place to donate frozen milk to by May 20th- there will be more bags being thrown away.
