Yeah!!

A miracle happened tonight at dinner!! Both twins ate what Bill & I had for dinner!!! We had steamed broccoli (twins added melted cheese), rice pilaf (twins added mayo, yep mayo on rice- gross but it is twins favorite the dip of the week) and chicken breast that was marinated in italian dressing for a few hrs. Could this be a fluke or a happy change in eating habits!?!?!?!!?! time will tell.  But we are still excited about that!!

 

This week we refinanced my SUV.  We kept the term the same but the APR went down a little bit.  We are hoping to close on the house refinance this next week.

 

We have family pictures on Tuesday morning for the kids turning two and winter pictures.  Hope the weather will be nice & we can be outside.  If we have to do inside the photographer has a holiday theme set up in her studio.  It is supposed to be in the low 70's so hopefully we can be outside at Nash Farms.

 

I called Pottery Barn today about the job I applied for last week.  They said that their payroll budget was cut & they are no longer hiring.  He said he would keep my application for a year.  Not holding my breath.  I think this year I waited to long to apply for "holiday help" so I will apply again after we come back from summer vacation next year & maybe I will get in before the holiday rush of temp workers.

 

This weekend we are separating the twins bedrooms.  I am nervous but I think Ryan will be thankful.  Jordan has been taking 45 minutes to an hr to fall asleep for naps & bedtime.  She sits in there & sings, kicks the wall, shakes the room dividing gate and I believe all of that racket is keeping Ryan from getting a good rest.  They are both sick still or again, so we really want them to get some good rest.  Just a couple minor things to do in his future room before we can move him over (bolt a shelf to the wall so it won't fall over & put up a black out blind).

 

ECI was out today, they are the low cost Early Childhood Intervention.  They have been tracking Ryan's weights for about a year & stay tuned in on the twins development.  They had an occupational therapist come to our home this past spring, she & I didn't really see eye-to-eye and it seemed that she was just playing with the kids (pushing their cars in their toy garage) instead of doing any therapy.  So I asked them to send someone else out.  They have yet to do that, this was at least 6 months ago.  They came out today & said that they are still working on finding the perfect therapist for the twins unique needs.  Not sure what that meant.  But they have been seriously dragging their feet & we are tired of it!  We let them know today that they have 2 wks to get someone out to our home for therapy or we are terminating their services.  We only pay $20 a month but they are only coming out to our house once a month to weigh Ryan, I can do that for free at the pedi's office!

 

Bill has a busy weekend.  He has been having issues with his radiator in his truck.  Thankfully the radiator was still under warranty, so they sent us a new one & he will change it out this weekend.  But he has at least 2 anti-freeze leaks, he is going through a gallon every other day... so he will be working on that this weekend too & next week during the 4 day weekend.  fun!  It is nice not having a 2nd vehicle payment but having a 1994 two door Tahoe with HIGH mileage has its draw backs sometimes.

 

We have The Little Gym in the morning.  We had many coupons for the Winter/Spring semester and since we refinanced the house we will not have a payment due in December, so we decided to sign up for the Winter/Spring semester.  The kids have so much fun there & it is really the only time we get out/about right now.
